Show dogs require a lot of grooming maintenance. Those not used for show still require grooming, but their hair can be cut in a pet cut which requires much less maintenance.
Poodles make excellent pets. They are extremely people-oriented and eager to please. They love to play and can be easily trained to do tricks. Poodles are very energetic dogs and they love to be the center of attention.
